His Buddy is Too “Friendly.” Can I Just Ignore It?

Reader matter:

i’ve been dating my personal date for a few and a half many years. He’s a friend he or she is close to. We heard she flirts with my boyfriend and says to him she likes him, but the guy does not add on to the woman flirting.

I do not like the woman mainly because the woman is “too friendly.” We have confronted my personal sweetheart about any of it, but he simply becomes upset at myself also it ultimately ends up getting an argument.

Can I just ignore this?

Dr. Wendy Walsh’s Answer:

Dear Aubrey,

The issue here has less regarding the other female’s conduct, that you can not actually get a grip on in any event, plus to do with the man you’re seeing’s reaction to your articulating concern.

His outrage maybe because of one of several following:

The initial step to solving it is for you really to examine both alternatives you’ve got control of.

Are you inquiring in a furious method, and are you experiencing unreasonable jealousies? If each of those you should not move the snuff test, then you can consider the other two.

Really, some guys get really confused about the complexities of female feelings and he might be disappointed because the guy does not know what accomplish.

Ultimately, you could also think about what is happening in your commitment that makes you muster insecurities. At the three-and-a-half year level, you may be enthusiastic about a firmer dedication.

I do believe there is more towards thoughts than simply a spat over a flirty lady.
